In the webinar on 18 November 2021 Noam Chomsky expressed his views on the extraordinary state of the world.

Noam Chomsky is one of the most prominent intellectual of our times. Known as the “father of linguistics”, he is Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In the public eyes, Professor Chomsky is celebrated as a free thinker and an outspoken political activist, for instance, when it comes to issues related to social rights and climate change. He has influenced a wide range of academic fields with his research, including, contemporary history, psychology and philosophy.

IPSOpinion aims at bringing together IPSO’s members and interested ECB staff with high-profiled politicians, researchers and activists. Due to the pandemic it is hosted as a webinar.
